The salt of death within my eyes;
I want to cry, but I still smile.
The water washed away my life
To the ancient shores. I'm left behind.
I did not know that life would be
So short, and now, I'm underneath
The surface of the sleepless sea;
I'm food for fish, don't look for me.
A silhouette of starving time
Arose above the silent sky;
The maelstrom of the devil's night
Will suck me in its sticky mire.
The water takes me all today.
I won't repent, I won't be blamed.
I will remember all my names,
The name of every drop of rain.
The weeping grief will never go,
Nor leave my drowned soul alone.
The sea will never sleep again,
It waits for dusk to claim its prey.
The endless sea dissolves my sins.
I'm back into its deep.
The abyss always waits for me,
To swallow every dream.
I feel the water calms my fears,
But it can't drain my tears.
