Sharp snow-flakes attack my face;
I keep on going through this haze.
There"s no exit, only trace
Of my own feet on snowy space.
Dirty smoke fills up my mind;
Dirty thoughts crawl out of spine;
No forgiveness I can find
On this icy serpentine.
Oh how I wish the spring to come
To my little frozen town;
Oh how I wish the rain to pour
To wash out ash from my burnt soul;
Oh how I wish the sun to melt
Everything I"ve ever felt;
Oh how I wish the love to blend
All emotions in my head.
Frozen world outside my shell
Reminds me of the arctic hell;
My mood has never been so swell,
Because I hear Spring sounds a bell.
