Sparrow Chirr reminds of himself and eats a hazelnut. A story for children.
Sparrow Chirr in the winter, usually in the mornings, flew up to the usual place and waited.
In right moment, a man was coming up and strewed a millet.
Sparrow Chirr, together with titmices, was pecking at millet and then he was flying on - to inspect the surroundings.
Summer came, enough other food appeared, and sparrow Chirr stopped coming for millet.
In early September, Chirr drew attention to the scattered hazelnuts.
"It would be nice to eat hazelnuts!" "But how to do that?"
Chirr remembered the past winter.
He flew up to the usual place and waited.
After a while, a man appeared and looked at Chirr.
Surprisingly, the man took some kind of plate, picked up a handful of nuts from the ground, took tongs, freed the nuts from the shell, crushed the kernel and sprinkled the nut crumbs onto the usual place.
Chirr would be surprised.
The existence of quick-witted, brainy people is a fact!
Surprise did not prevent Chirr from flying up to the nut crumbs and, together with the chickadees, eating hazelnuts.

Sparrow Chirr (with a sense of pleasure from the eaten hazelnut) flew off to inspect the surroundings.
